Alma Mora, Executive Director

Holds Bachelors of Science in Microbial Environmental Biology with an emphasis on Human Health from the University of California at Berkeley.  She has extensive experience working with at-risk youth, communities of color, public and environmental health programs, studies, and initiatives. Ms. Mora has worked with environmental justice issues as Projects Director with Ma’at Youth Academy.



Aree Nok, Projects Coordinator

Holds an A.A. degree in Social Science, Humanities and Fine Arts. She has 7 years of experience working with at-risk youth and communities of color in the city of Oakland. Ms. Nok has teaching experience in  Martial Arts and Creative Arts programs working with at-risk youth providing them with guidance and leadership skills.



Sharon Fuller, Founder, Senior Advisor and Policy Analyst

Ms. Fuller has 19 years of teaching experience and 18 years of experience providing technical assistance to local communities.  She has a B.S. degree in Environmental Science from UC Berkeley and an M.S. degree in Environmental Education. She is a Trustee University of California Berkeley Foundation and currently serves on the Navy’s Pt. Molate Restoration Advisory Board, National Park Service Crissy Field Environmental Education Center Advisory Board, and the California Department of Education Legal Compliance Review Committee.  Ms. Fuller is a lifelong resident of Richmond, and a 2005 Women’s Foundation Women Policy Institute Fellow, the recipient of the 2004 Woman of the Year Award for the State of California 14th Assembly District, and the San Francisco Foundation’s 2004 Koshland Civic Unity Award for her youth advocacy in the community and work related to the organization.

Caleb Feldman, Environmental Health Educator

Has a B.A in Gender Studies and is a candidate for an M.A. in Geography focusing on Resource Management and Environmental Planning. Mr. Feldman has over four years of experience working for environmental justice and food justice issues in the Bay Area. Caleb has extensive experience working with urban youth as an educator. Before coming to MYA, he has worked for the SF Department of Environment, The Green Cafe network, and at the Digital Arts and Culinary Academy.


Mikel Calderon, Tech Support and Web Designer

Mr. Calderon has experience in the various aspects of print publishing and graphic design. He is proficient in MS Office, and knowledgeable in Adobe Creative Suite programs like Photoshop, InDesign, Dreamweaver and Illustrator. Mr. Calderon is very
skilled in the use and implementation of WordPress and plugins. He has experience working on the College Preparatory Architecture Academy website at the Fremont High School campus.
